Refund Policy

1. Customer Cancellations

 

  • Customers may reschedule their booking for any reason up to 72 hours (3 days) before the scheduled flight time (minus any transaction or administrative fee, if applicable). 

  • Cancellations made within 72 hours of the flight are non-refundable, and the full price of the flight will be retained. 

  • No-Shows: Customers who fail to show up for their scheduled flight without prior notice are considered no-shows and will not receive a refund. â€‹

 

2. Weather & Safety Cancellations

 

  • Reschedule: If we must cancel a flight due to unsafe weather or operational conditions, you will be offered to reschedule on the next available date at no additional charge. 

  • Weather cancellations are handled at our discretion based on safety and pilot judgment. You will be notified as early as possible if a weather cancellation occurs. â€‹

3. Rescheduling

 

  • If you need to reschedule your flight, you may do so up to 72 hours prior to the scheduled flight without penalty. 

  • Rescheduling within the 72-hour window may, at our discretion, be treated as a cancellation and may not be eligible for refund.

4. Gift Certificates & Vouchers

 

  • Gift certificates or vouchers are typically non-refundable, but may be transferable unless specified otherwise at the time of purchase. 

  • If a flight booked with a gift certificate is canceled due to weather, the certificate value can be applied to a rescheduled flight.

5. Refund Processing

 

  • Refunds will be issued to the original method of payment within a reasonable processing period (usually 7–10 business days). 

  • Administrative or processing fees may apply to refund transactions where noted.

6. Special Event or Package Bookings

 

  • Flights booked as part of special events, festivals, tours, or discounted packages may be subject to different cancellation terms and fees, which will be communicated at the time of booking.

7. Additional Notes

 

  • Because hot air ballooning is weather-dependent, customers are encouraged to plan with flexibility and schedule backup dates whenever possible. 

  • Safety considerations always take priority; refund decisions due to weather or operational safety will align with this policy.
